Project Info:

A comprehensive AWS infrastructure migration that transformed a healthcare startup's "click-and-pray" console-based infrastructure into a robust, compliant Infrastructure as Code solution. This project solved critical challenges including security group chaos, undocumented resources, and the inability to recreate environments reliably.

Using AWS CDK with TypeScript, I designed a proper multi-AZ architecture with VPC isolation, private database subnets, and automated deployment pipelines. The migration reduced environment provisioning from 3 weeks to minutes while ensuring HIPAA compliance and eliminating infrastructure snowflakes.
